Sara, Sophia, and Dr. White went to the International Symposium on Ruminant Physiology (ISRP) from August 26-29 in Chicago, IL to present 2 posters focusing on feed efficiency and nutrient partitioning in dairy cows. Connections were made between the White Lab and other groups interested in feed efficiency, nutrient utilization, and tissue-specific metabolism not only in dairy cows, but also in beef animals. Sara, Sophia, and Dr. White also had a chance to explore Chicago, and was able to enjoy the Navy Pier before a giant thunderstorm swept through the city!
